Itinerary
Arrive in Islamabad, meet the trekking team. Sightseeing tour (optional) to Faisal Mosque, Lok Virsa Museum, or Daman-e-Koh. Overnight stay in a hotel.
Flight option: 1-hour scenic flight to Skardu (subject to weather conditions). Drive option: 18-20 hours via the Karakoram Highway, passing through Chilas and Jaglot. Explore Skardu Bazaar, visit Satpara Lake or Kharpocho Fort. Overnight stay in Skardu.
Scenic drive along the Shyok River towards Khaplu and Kande. Meet porters and prepare for the trek. Overnight stay in a guesthouse or campsite in Kande.
Trek through lush green pastures and rocky trails. Pass through traditional Balti settlements and glacial streams. Arrive at Nagma Valley Base Camp, offering breathtaking views of Amin Brakk and surrounding peaks. Overnight stay in tents at Base Camp.
Steep ascent through glacier moraine and alpine meadows. Reach Nagma Valley High Camp, an incredible viewpoint of Amin Brakk, K6, and K7. Explore the area and enjoy the majestic mountain scenery. Camp overnight at High Camp.
Enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the Karakoram peaks. Optional short hike to explore surrounding glaciers. Relax, take photos, and soak in the serene mountain environment. Overnight stay at High Camp.
Descend back through Nagma Valley Base Camp and lush meadows. Return to Kande Village. Overnight stay in a guesthouse or campsite.
Drive back through Khaplu Valley. Explore Khaplu Fort and Chaqchan Mosque. Free time for shopping and sightseeing in Skardu. Overnight stay in a hotel.
Flight option: 1-hour flight (subject to weather conditions). Drive option: 18-20 hours via the Karakoram Highway. Arrival in Islamabad. Overnight stay in a hotel.
Transfer to the airport for international flights. End of the trek.
