Spantik Base Camp Trek
Spantik Peak, also known as the Golden Peak, is a stunning 7,027m (23,054 ft) mountain in the Karakoram Range of Pakistan. Itinerary
Arrive in Skardu via flight from Islamabad or by road from Gilgit. Explore the local markets, visit Kharpocho Fort, or relax by the Indus River. Overnight stay in a hotel in Skardu.
A scenic jeep ride through Shigar Valley towards Arandu, the last village before the trek. Witness beautiful landscapes, river crossings, and lush green fields. Camp overnight in Arandu village.
The trek begins with a gradual ascent through a beautiful valley. Cross wooden bridges and streams while enjoying spectacular views of Spantik Peak. Reach Chogo Brangsa and set up camp for the night.
Trek along the Chogo Lungma Glacier, navigating rocky moraine and icy patches. Magnificent views of Laila Peak (6,096m) and other Karakoram giants. Camp overnight at Bolocho near the glacier.
A challenging but rewarding trek to Spantik Base Camp. Traverse the icy terrain and glacial moraines of the Chogo Lungma Glacier. Enjoy breathtaking views of Spantik, Golden Pillar, and other peaks. Set up camp and enjoy the stunning mountain scenery.

A scenic drive back to Skardu. Rest and explore Skardu city. Overnight stay in a hotel.
Flight or road journey back to Islamabad. End of the trek.
