Pakistan Visa Process

All foreign nationals are required to obtain a Visa to enter Pakistan and a Passport that must be valid for 6 months beyond the intended length of stay. Pakistan has recently introduced the Online visa system, where you can apply for Tourist, student, family, pilgrimage, and some other visas online. If you are planning to visit Pakistan as a tourist, you have 3 options to choose from to apply for a Pakistan tourist Visa:

• On Arrival Tourist Visa ( e Visa)
• Online Tourist Visa
• Apply by Post or by visiting your nearest Pakistan embassy/consulate.

You can apply for Pakistan on arrival visa ( Pakistan e visa)  if your country is listed in the Pakistan e visa countries list. Please see the Pakistan e visa countries list below to check if your country is in the list. You can only apply for a Pakistan on arrival visa (Pakistan e Visa) if your county is in the Pakistan e visa countries list otherwise, please choose one from the other two options. We always recommend our clients to Plan their Pakistan holidays and apply for the Pakistan Visa as early as possible. The latest recommended time to apply for on arrival visa is 48-72 hours before your travel to receive the Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA).

• Passport
• Photograph
• Invitation Letter by the sponsor or hotel booking details in case of individual tourist
• Invitation Letter in case of a group by the Tour Operator designated by the department of tourist services.

• Tourist Visa on Arrival is valid for 30 Days
• Nationals of Malaysia, Turkey and UAE may be granted a 30-day, multiple-entry visa upon arrival
• Processing Time
• 48-72 Hours (Working Hours)

Pakistan e visa Countries list – Pakistan Visa on Arrival eligible countries

You can apply for a Pakistan online tourist visa if you are a national from the following countries. Please see the list below to check if your country is in the list.

Documents Required

• Passport
• Photograph
• Invitation Letter by the sponsor or hotel booking details in case of individual tourist.

• Single Entry for short duration less than 3 months (First Time entry).
• Duration up to and greater than 6 months (Extension).
• Citizens from these countries may be eligible for a Double Entry Tourist Visa.
• A Tourist Visa can be extended for up to 6 Months or more, subject to approval.
• US nationals could avail Tourist 5 years multiple entry visa with maximum 3 months stay.

• Entry (Up to 3 Months) : 7-10 days (Working Days)
• Extension (Up to 6 Months) : 7-10 days (Working Days)
• Extension (Greater than 6 Months) : 4 Weeks (Working days)
